Today we will talk about Rats. The rats are one of the small energetic creatures. They are quite unique in their behavior.

Some Interesting facts about Rat are:

1. Rats have poor vision. To compensate for this, a red or pink eyed rat will often weave its head side to side to add "motion" to see better. They also don't see in color.


2. The rat is the first animal on the Chinese Zodiac.

3. Rats can complete the courting ritual and the whole romantic relationship in about two seconds.

4. The first astronaut rat launched from France into outer space in 1961.

5. Rats use their tail to control their body temperature because they cannot sweat.
6. The black plague killed more rats then people.

7. A rat can swim for three days before it drowns.

8. Rats don't have thumbs.

9. A Rat spend a third of there lives cleaning themselves.

10. Rats can live without water for a longer duration as compare to Camel.

11.Desert rats can copulate 122 times an hour.

A Rat have life span of 2-3 year and in that short period of life span a rats made
500 mating with female partner.....

Once rats learn a navigation route, they never forget it.Rats are very clean animals. They spend several hours each day grooming themselves and each other. They are less likely than dogs or cats to catch and transmit parasites and viruses.
